La sera del 26 giugno è stata la settima volta e
come sempre è stato bellissimo.
Ragazzi, non ci tradite mai.
I Marillion sono GRANDI! :)

C'è un album...

... presente nel mio iPod ormai da mesi che

ascolto sempre quando ho bisogno di rilassarmi.

E' un disco acustico, forse un po' malinconico le cui atmosfere

ricordano quelle di Damien Rice o dei Kings Of Convenience.

Il bello è che l'ho ritrovato in uno dei tanti CD contenenti mp3 e

non ricordo nemmeno perché lo scaricai.

Ma è stata una piacevole sorpresa e ormai

lo considero un evergreen nella mia personale collezione.

Non so perché ma sembra perfetto alla mia passeggiata quotidiana

dall'uscita della metropolitana fino all'ufficio.

L'incedere di Quiet Town poi mi ricorda Dust In The Wind dei Kansas,

anche se poi il pezzo è totalmente diverso e

suscita emozioni diversissime:

per qualcuno come me, cresciuto in una piccola città

evoca la tranquillità e la monotonia dei giorni estivi

con le strade deserte, oppure dei posti in cui tutti conoscono tutti e

i giorni scorrono pigramente...
